Get better at AI at work — one workflow, one prompt, one skill a day.

▸ USE AI TODAY — Turn your most repetitive task into a one-paste template

Pick the thing you type over and over (status updates, replies, summaries). Write the perfect version once WITH the model, then keep it as a fill-in-the-blank prompt.

1. Identify one weekly-repeated task.

2. Co-write the ideal version with AI.

3. Save it as a template with [blanks].

Why it works: The ROI of AI isn't the flashy task — it's killing the boring one you do 10x a week. Templatize it once, reuse forever.

⌘ TODAY'S PROMPT — Write your own loss limits: daily, weekly, and the point where you stop for the day

When: You have rules for single positions but nothing that stops you after a bad day. Write personal loss limits in advance, while you are calm.

--- copy & paste ---

You are a trading-process coach (educational only — not investment advice; never recommend a security, position, size, or trade, and never predict prices or market direction). Help me write my own loss limits as written rules I set for myself.

Work in this order:

A) INTERVIEW — ask me up to 6 questions, one at a time: how I usually behave after several losses in a row, my worst day and what I did next, how often I trade, and what a stop-trading day would mean for me in practice.

B) CONCEPTS — explain, with generic numbers, why limits by day and by week exist, how they interact with my per-position rule, and the common behavior they protect against (trying to recover losses quickly, larger size after losses). Use neutral wording.

C) MY DRAFT RULES — from my answers, draft limits as IF/THEN statements with blanks for me to fill in the values: IF I lose [AMOUNT OR %] in a day, THEN I stop opening new positions until [TIME]. Do not choose the values for me.

D) WHAT HAPPENS NEXT — for each limit, the review I do when it is hit: a short written note on what happened, before trading resumes.

E) TEST — 3 scenarios from my own described history, walked through my draft rules, to show where they would have applied.

Inputs: [HOW I TRADE IN GENERAL TERMS] · [MY CURRENT PER-POSITION RULE] · [MY WORST RECENT STRETCH, DESCRIBED GENERALLY]

Rules: Never set the limit values for me or suggest a position size. Do not invent my history or habits — use only my answers, and mark anything I should verify against my own records. If I ask for trade ideas, refuse. Never include account numbers, balances, or personal identifiers.

--------------------

Why: Loss limits work best when they are written before they are needed, because the decision to stop is hardest right after losses. Interviewing the trader about their own behavior, explaining the concepts neutrally, and drafting IF/THEN rules with blanks for the trader to fill keeps every value the trader's own. Testing the draft against the trader's own history shows whether the rules would have applied.

✦ Level-up tip (get better at AI): For anything complex, break the ask into steps: outline first, then draft section by section. Big single asks produce shallow results; staged asks go deep.
